Decisioning Solutions Community Support Continues to Grow

Decisioning Solutions proudly supports Covenant House which transitions youth from a life on the streets to a life with a future.

January 11, 2010 - Decisioning Solutions Inc., a leading provider of decision technology, continues to expand its community participation and charitable support through its most recent endeavour with Covenant House. Covenant House is not only Canada’s largest youth shelter but they also provide 24/7 crisis care and have wide range of services including; education, counseling, health care and employment assistance. Covenant House has helped thousands of youth transition from a life on the street to a life with a future.

Every year Decisioning Solutions continues to further assist and foster the community in part by having our social committee select an additional charitable organization to support. This year, Decision Solutions decided to add Covenant House to an already extensive list of reputable organizations that includes children’s hospitals, breast cancer research, women’s shelters, and several other community outreach programs.

As a part of their donation, Decisioning Solutions asked employees to put aside their corporate priorities during the working day in exchange for volunteering at Covenant House. Decisioning Solutions’ employees prepared, organized and packaged thousands of necessary supplies for children who live on the streets and for children already residing at the shelter. Jose Cerqueira, Senior Director of Operations, commented, "It was a lot of fun and we felt great giving to such a widely recognized and successful organization like Covenant House. It was also nice to see several employees from all departments, including some of the executive team like the President and CEO, roll up their sleeves and dig right in. We look forward to assisting this great cause along with others in the future".
