» Sales Assistant / Market Research Analyst

Job Description:

As a key team member, The Sales Assistant/Market Research Analyst is responsible for lead generation and verification, including researching and discovering new lead sources to support our internal Executive Sales Team. The successful candidate will manage market research data by maintaining thorough records in the Outlook Business Contact Management System and will transfer pertinent information daily to their manager for follow up.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research selected industries to determine appropriate contact information, current systems/processes, customer volumes, etc.
  • Maintain database of potential clients (individual contacts and other specifics)
  • Assist in the sales process from an internal and client perspective
  • Attend and participate in tradeshow and industry association events
  • Additional relevant administrative duties

Qualifications:

  • BA or BAdmin (majoring in Marketing)/BASc a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills/outgoing individual
  • Good listening and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to quickly grasp new concepts
  • Deadline oriented
  • Creative and adaptable
  • Displays leadership and initiative
  • Motivated, independent and dedicated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is based on experience level and the value the individual can bring to the company. Decisioning Solutions offers an extensive benefits package.
